They are known as stock-class players. Stock-class Paintball Markers are usually pump-action paintball guns powered by either twelve gram carbon dioxide cartridges or small carbon dioxide tanks. Wide variations of markers, from ultra-economy models not made for serious sport, to multi-thousand dollar electronic markers with custom graphics and body milling are manufactured.

Sunglasses, ski goggles, safety goggles, shooting glasses, or anything else cannot be used as replacements Paintball Masks. Paintball lenses are larger, and thus, offer much more peripheral vision than most other goggles. When buying a paintball mask, you should try it on make sure you can see from all corners of the eyes. Also, a player should be able to look through the gun sight comfortably with the mask on.
